The College Governance structure is accredited to meet Australian Medical Council standards for Specialist Medical Colleges. ACRRM is governed by a Board and College Council. The Board and Council generate policies and make decisions in consultation with a series of expert external and internal committees and reference groups.

The College has held AMC accreditation for over 12 years and its 2019 annual assessment confirmed that it maintains full accreditation with no outstanding conditions or recommendations for improvement.
